Accessibility statement

RV-trade s.r.o. is committed to making this website accessible, in line with Czech Act No. 99/2019 Coll. on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications and with Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services (the European Accessibility Act, EAA).

1. Scope and goal

The goal is for the site to meet WCAG 2.1 at level AA, as defined by the harmonised standard EN 301 549.

2. Conformance status

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. This is not a claim of full accessibility — it is ongoing work in which we have made a first set of changes and know that further checks and fixes will follow.

3. What we have checked and fixed so far

• Semantic page markup — the header (header), navigation (nav), main content (main) and footer (footer) use the corresponding HTML elements.
• A “skip to main content” link for keyboard and screen reader users, visible when tabbing.
• Alternative text for product images and photographs (the alt attribute) — checked and added where it was missing.
• Form field labels (enquiry, contact, business, custom production, basket) are tied to their inputs.
• Buttons that carry only an icon (opening the menu, closing a panel, removing a basket line, changing a quantity) have a text label for screen readers (aria-label).
• Text colour contrast has been spot-checked and the obviously problematic places corrected.
• The page language is declared in the lang attribute and matches the language of the content; the language switcher is ordinary link navigation and works from the keyboard.

4. What remains to be done

The automated and manual checks carried out by the date of this statement do not replace a full accessibility audit. In particular, the following has not yet been verified: measured colour contrast across the whole site, the behaviour of dynamic states and ARIA attributes, focus order and visibility when navigating by keyboard, and testing with an actual screen reader. We plan to review and refine these areas as the site is developed further.
